Product Description

The Matrox DualHead2Go Digital SE is a fantastic external multi - display adapter. It's a small black box that can connect up to two monitors to your laptop or desktop. Just connect it to your system's video output, and it'll use your existing GPU to offer high - quality, uncompressed graphics and video on all monitors. This is perfect for business and professional users who want to boost productivity with a dual - display setup. You can run different apps on each monitor or stretch one app across two. Key features include the ability to connect two monitors to a single DisplayPort output, create a 3840x1200 stretched desktop, and work with displays and projectors. It's HDCP - compliant for protected content, easy to install, and won't void your system warranty. You can even expand to four monitors by connecting a second unit. It comes with Matrox PowerDesk software for easy desktop management and has a 2 - year warranty. Technical specs cover connectivity, performance, and system requirements.

Using the Matrox DualHead2Go Digital SE is a breeze. First, check that your system meets the requirements, like having a single DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort video output, a display driver supporting 3072 x 768 or higher resolution, and a powered USB connector. Then, connect the DisplayPort input cable from your system to the adapter. Next, connect your two monitors to the DVI - D outputs on the adapter. Plug the USB cable into your system for power. Once everything is connected, your computer should detect the new setup. You can use the Matrox PowerDesk software to manage your desktop configuration, like setting up a stretched desktop or using clone mode. When it comes to maintenance, keep the adapter in a cool, dry place. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If you need to clean it, use a soft, dry cloth. Remember, the Thunderbolt port connectivity is currently only for Mac systems, and Windows support is coming soon. Also, if you want to expand to four monitors, make sure you're using a Windows system as multi - unit support is only available under Windows.
