Product Description

The Thor F - RF - RX - RM is an outstanding rack - mount headend receiver for RF over fiber applications. It can receive RF cable TV signals in the 45 - 870MHz range transmitted via optical fiber. This receiver can handle optical signals in both 1310nm and 1550nm bands. With Automatic Gain Control, it precisely manages the RF output power. Working great with F - RF - TX units, it comes with two optical receivers and two optional power supplies. If one power supply gets too hot, it automatically switches to the other, adding redundancy and reliability. The front - panel LCD screen makes it easy to check the operating status and fault info. It's built for high - end applications with high reliability. Key features include: a rack - mount broadband optical RF receiver for 45 - 870 MHz, AGC for RF power output, a heavy - duty rack - mount chassis with temperature control, and high optical receiver sensitivity of - 10 dBm optical power. Technical specs: Wavelength Response 850 - 1610nm, Optical Sensitivity - 9 dBm, Fiber Connector SC/APC, RF Connector Type - F 75 Ohm, Power Input 120 - 240 VAC, Power Rating 50W, Dimensions 19 x 10 x 1.75 IN, Temperature - 5 - 65 C. It includes an optical receiver, a US power cable, and a user manual.

Using this Thor RF over fiber rack - mount headend receiver is quite straightforward. First, connect the optical fiber to the SC/APC fiber connector on the receiver. Then, use the Type - F 75 Ohm RF connector to connect it to your RF system. Plug the power cable into a 120 - 240 VAC power source. Once it's powered on, you can check the operating status on the front - panel LCD screen. When using, make sure the operating temperature stays between - 5 and 65 degrees Celsius. Don't expose it to extreme heat or cold. If you notice one of the power supplies getting too warm, don't worry as the receiver will automatically switch to the other one. For maintenance, keep the receiver clean and free of dust. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it. Check the connections regularly to ensure they are secure. If you have any problems, refer to the user manual or contact our customer service.
