The VDO360 VPTZH - 04 PD CompassX is an outstanding 10x HD PTZ USB camera with a built - in speakerphone. It offers high - definition video via USB 2.0, powered by a 1/2.8' CMOS sensor with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080. It has a wide range of movement, with 300° of pan, 180° of tilt, and a 10x optical zoom. The video is encoded in the MJPEG format, supporting resolutions of 1080p, 720p, and 640 x 480 at 30fps. You can control the camera and its PTZ functions using the included IR remote or the RS - 232 serial port. The IR remote can store up to seven position presets, and more are available through RS - 232 or the on - screen application via USB. Both USB 2.0 and RS - 232 cables are included. Key features include a focus range of f4.7 - 47mm/58cm - infinity, low optical distortion (-1.12% - +0.65%), a dynamic range of 100db, an SNR above 50db, a horizontal FOV of 62.5 - 6.43, a standard 1/4”/20 thread tripod mount, and a fast professional autofocus. It also has dual IR receivers, belt - drive low - noise stepper motors with variable speed, and operates on 12V DC input at 2A. Using this VDO360 camera is easy. First, connect it to your device using the provided USB 2.0 or RS - 232 cable. If you want to control it with the IR remote, make sure it's within range of the camera's IR receivers. You can adjust the camera's position using the remote or the serial port. For preset positions, you can store up to seven on the IR remote and more through other methods. When using the camera, keep it in a well - lit area to get the best video quality. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. To maintain the camera, clean the lens regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use abrasive materials as they can scratch the lens.
