Product Description

The Morley 2-Channel Hum Eliminator Box is a must - have for audio enthusiasts. It utilizes custom in - house isolation transformers to break loop antennas that cause annoying ground hum and buzz. This device can smoothly convert between balanced and unbalanced connections, stopping cables from acting as noise antennas. Just insert a channel of the Hum Eliminator between the two problem - causing pieces of equipment. It won't degrade the audio quality; instead, it enhances it. Equipped with 1/4” smart jacks that can accept any mix of unbalanced (TS) or unbalanced (TRS) plugs, these passive devices (no power needed) come in cold - rolled steel housings, with hand - soldered circuit boards and top - notch components. Key features include: a 2 - channel design, 1/4” Smart Jacks and XLR Jacks, dimensions of 4.75” (L) / 3.25” (W) / 1.75” (H), prevention of ground loops, custom Morley isolation transformers, conversion between cable types, easy insertion on audio connections, and it's not for use on mic level, instrument or powered speaker lines.

Using the Morley 2 - Channel Hum Eliminator Box is a breeze. First, identify the two pieces of audio equipment that are causing the hum or buzz. Then, simply insert a channel of the Hum Eliminator on the cable connections between these two devices. Make sure to connect the plugs properly to the 1/4” smart jacks. Remember, this device is passive, so you don't need to worry about powering it. One important thing to note is that it's not meant for use on mic level, instrument or powered speaker lines. For maintenance, keep it in a dry place and avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures. Since the circuit boards are hand - soldered, be gentle when handling the device to prevent any damage to the components.
