Product Description

The RDL D-NLC1 is a remarkable remote control wall plate. It offers volume control at single or multiple spots. Connecting to a digital network, it can work with compatible RDL audio and control modules, as well as Dante devices from various manufacturers. The 15-segment LED string clearly displays the level. Each unit can operate as a Controller or Satellite, allowing up to eight units to collaborate for level adjustment. You can set it up easily in a web-browser session hosted by the NLC1. You can configure the volume to adjust a group of outputs or a single output. Even if grouped outputs have different attenuation levels, the dB offsets are maintained during group level adjustment. There's a convenient mute button with a status indicator. Press it again or the Up/Down button to cancel mute. Each NLC1 can be set as a Controller or Satellite. As a Controller, it can manage up to 7 Satellite controls. As a Satellite, it sends commands to a Controller which then relays them to the controlled devices. Compatible RDL products can respond to commands from up to 8 Controllers. The NLC1 can be a Satellite to another NLC1 or an -NMC1. When not in use, the LED display dims and brightens when a button is pressed. You can set it to lock after 30 seconds of inactivity. To unlock, use a programmable button sequence set by the installer. With an intuitive and appealing interface, the NLC1 provides easy pushbutton volume control and selectable muting. Key features include pushbutton level control, LED display, mute button with indicator, programmable operation, configurable auto-locking, dual - role operation, compatibility with various products, and PoE power. Technical specs: RJ45 network connector with indicators, 100 Mbps transmission rate, 18 indicators, 3 pushbuttons, operating temp from 0°C to 40°C (30°C recommended), PoE Class 0 power, mounts in standard US electrical box, specific dimensions, comes in a cardboard box, and weighs 0.5 lbs (shipping) and 0.31 lbs (WEEE). It includes 1 white RDL D-NLC1 with LEDs.

Using the RDL D-NLC1 is a breeze. First, connect it to the digital network using the RJ45 connector. Then, open a web - browser session hosted by the NLC1 to set it up. Decide whether you want it to work as a Controller or a Satellite. If it's a Controller, you can connect up to 7 Satellite controls to it. As a Satellite, just send commands to the designated Controller. To adjust the volume, use the level adjustment buttons. You can set it to control a group of outputs or just one output. If you need to mute the audio, press the mute button. Press it again or the Up/Down button to unmute. When you're not using the device, the LED display will dim to save power. If you've set it to auto - lock after 30 seconds of inactivity, use the programmable unlock sequence set by the installer to start using it again. For maintenance, keep it in an environment with a temperature between 0°C and 40°C (30°C is recommended). Don't expose it to extreme conditions. Make sure the PoE power supply is stable. If you encounter any issues, check the network connection and the power first. Also, if you need to change the unlock sequence or other settings, you can always go back to the web - browser session and re - configure it.
