Product Description
The tvONE C2-2375A Universal Scaler PLUS 3G-SDI Converter, powered by TV One’s exclusive CORIO2 technology, offers high-quality bidirectional conversion between various analog and digital video formats. It supports SD/HD/3G-SDI, DVI, Composite Video, YC, YUV, YPbPr, or RGB for both inputs and outputs. You can adjust the signal parameters of the incoming video, and all settings are stored in non-volatile memory, so they're retained even when the power is off. There are ten user-defined presets for customizing settings for different applications. The high-resolution RGB/YPbPr output can be set to almost any PC or HDTV resolution. Our exclusive AutoSet feature automatically sizes and positions the computer image to fit the video screen perfectly, saving you the hassle of manual setup. It supports NTSC, PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N, and SECAM standards, and the 2nd DVI and Analog output can have different video formats and resolutions. You can control all functions via the front panel push buttons, an RS-232/422/485, or an IP connection. Windows Control Panel software is provided, and most third-party control systems can interface directly with the entire C2 product range. The front panel LCD makes setup easy. The unit comes in a standard 1U rack mount case and has an optional redundant internal PSU and power inlet. With a variable zoom up to 10X, you can enlarge any part of the computer screen to fill the whole video screen, and position controls let you move it to any desired area. Variable shrink down to 10% allows the image to fit most displays. The advanced Digital Flicker Elimination circuitry and high sampling rate ensure crisp, clear images, while full bandwidth chroma sampling reproduces high-resolution colors faithfully. Temporal interpolation improves frame-rate conversion, and Pixel Level Motion Adaptive Diagonal Interpolation and Noise Reduction ensure high-quality de-interlacing of PAL, NTSC, and 1080i signals. 3:2 Pull-down extracts proper 24 fps film from NTSC and 1080i sources. The Key Mode lets you key computer graphics over an external Composite, YC, or SDI signal, with the keyed image able to fade in and out. Thanks to the 4:4:4 sampling format, precise pixel-level keying can be achieved. The Mix Mode enables seamless cut, fade, or wipe transitions between input sources. The PIP Mode allows you to inset either of the computer HD15/DVI inputs in a window over any of the CV/YC/SDI video inputs or vice versa, and the PIP window can be placed anywhere on the screen. The Genlock feature is SD and HD compatible, providing a wide Subcarrier lock range with Subcarrier phase adjust for precise synchronization of incoming signals. Integral audio switching routes audio from the (HDMI-compatible) DVI input or SDI input to the DVI and SDI outputs. An optional Audio Module can offer AES I/O abilities, audio delay, and link to our A2-7300 range of audio break-out units.
Using the tvONE C2-2375A is straightforward. First, connect your video sources to the appropriate inputs. You can use SD/HD/3G-SDI, DVI, Composite Video, YC, YUV, YPbPr, or RGB inputs depending on your devices. Once connected, use the front panel push buttons or connect via RS-232/422/485 or IP to start adjusting settings. The Windows Control Panel software can also help with configuration. You can use the ten user-defined presets to quickly set up for different applications. When it comes to the output, you can set the high-resolution RGB/YPbPr output to your desired PC or HDTV resolution. The AutoSet feature will make sure the computer image fits the screen automatically. Remember to support the NTSC, PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N, or SECAM standards according to your region. For audio, use the integral audio switching to route audio from the DVI or SDI input to the corresponding outputs. If you have the optional Audio Module, it can add more audio capabilities. When handling the unit, make sure it's in a well-ventilated area, especially if you're using the optional redundant internal PSU. Keep it away from moisture and extreme temperatures. For maintenance, regularly check the connections to ensure they're secure. Clean the front panel LCD gently with a soft cloth. If you encounter any issues, refer to the user manual or contact customer support. The unit comes with a limited 5-year parts and labor warranty, so you can have peace of mind.
