Using the Zoom Q8n-4K is a breeze. First, decide on your power source. You can use the rechargeable Li-ion battery, charge it via USB, or use an optional AC adapter. Insert a microSD card (up to 512GB) to start recording.
For audio recording, if you're capturing a band performance, connect the main outputs of the mixing board to the camera. You can also use the included X/Y mic capsule and the two XLR inputs to record up to four tracks of clear audio simultaneously. Adjust the audio functions like LoCut, Fx, level, pan, and delay as needed.
When it comes to video, select the appropriate resolution and frame rate for your shoot. Use the five FOV settings and brightness adjustments to get the best shot. You can choose from Scene presets for different lighting conditions or let the Auto setting do the work.
If you want to livestream, simply connect the camera to your computer via USB and start streaming to your favorite platforms. For self-shooting, flip out the screen to see yourself.
