Product Description
The EDIUS PTZ4Kw 4K 60p 30x PTZ camera in white is a remarkable upgrade. It's the successor to the legendary Grass Valley Broadcast PTZ 35X HD Camera, made in the same facility but without the 'Grass Valley' label, which cuts the cost. With a new sensor, the 30x zoom model is far more powerful than its 35x predecessor. It can now output UHD at 50 or 60p, a big leap from the previous max of UHD 30p. It also has an audio line - in for external sound, a feature the old model lacked. The camera offers HDMI 2.0, while keeping the 3G SDI connection. It supports NDI Version 5 and SRT, and comes with a modern USB - C connection instead of USB 3.0. The real star is the auto - tracking function. As shown in the YouTube video, it lets the camera automatically follow, pan, and zoom a person without an extra cameraman. You can customize the camera's behavior via its web interface, like choosing shot sizes (close - up or long shot) and the position of the tracked person in the frame. Key features include UHD resolution at 25 - 60p, 30x optical zoom, auto - tracking, NDI | HX3 with latest NDI V5 SDK Version and SRT support, multiple connections (HDMI 2.0, SDI 3G, USB - C, 3.5mm Jack, Gigabit Ethernet with PoE+), a 1/1.8” 12MP UHD CMOS Sensor, and a view angle from 60° (wide) to 2° (tele) with a minimum working distance of 1.5m.
Using your EDIUS PTZ4Kw camera is a breeze. First, connect it to your power source using either the DC12V or PoE+ option. You can use the Ethernet cable for power if you choose PoE+. Then, connect it to your display or recording device via HDMI 2.0, SDI, or other supported connections. To use the auto - tracking function, access the web interface and set your desired options like shot size and the position of the tracked person. For audio, plug in your external audio source using the 3.5mm Jack. When it comes to maintenance, keep the lens clean with a soft, lint - free cloth. Avoid exposing the camera to extreme temperatures and humidity. Regularly check the connections to make sure they're secure. Also, if you're using the camera for a long time, give it some rest to prevent overheating. Remember to update the camera's firmware regularly to ensure it runs smoothly and takes advantage of new features.
