The Kramer PT - 571 is a top - notch DGKat™ twisted pair transmitter designed for HDMI signals. It smoothly converts an HDMI signal into a single twisted pair signal, and when paired with the PT - 572+, it can convert the twisted pair signal back to an HDMI signal. Key features include a max data rate of 4.95Gbps (1.65Gbps per graphic channel), HDTV compatibility, HDCP compliance, DGKat™ signal integration, HDMI support, 3D pass - through, EDID PassThru status LED, Power Connect™ system, and ultra - compact Pico TOOLS. Technically, it has 1 x HDMI input connector and 1 x DGKat twisted pair RJ - 45 output connector. It's compliant with HDMI standards, supports HDMI and HDCP, has a power consumption of 12V DC, 250mA (for transmitter and receiver together), dimensions of 6.2cm x 5.2cm x 2.4cm (2.4' x 2.1' x 1'), and weighs 0.14kg (0.3lbs). Using the Kramer PT - 571 HDMI over Twisted Pair Transmitter is quite straightforward. First, connect your device with an HDMI output to the HDMI connector on the transmitter. Then, use the DGKat twisted pair RJ - 45 connector to send the signal to the receiver. If you have a PT - 572+ receiver, it will convert the signal back to HDMI for your display. When using the transmitter, make sure the power supply is properly connected. The power consumption is 12V DC, 250mA for both the transmitter and receiver together. Keep it in a cool and dry place to avoid overheating. For maintenance, just keep it clean from dust. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it occasionally.
