Product Description

The MuxLab 500087 Digital Audio Standards Converter is a highly versatile device. It enables you to connect a Digital Coax (S/PDIF) or Digital Optical (TOSLINK) source to a Digital Audio Receiver with either Digital Coax or Digital Optical inputs. This converter supports major standards for transmitting two - channel uncompressed lossless PCM audio or compressed 5.1/7.1 surround sound, like Dolby Digital Plus and DTS - HD High Resolution Audio. Key features include converting between Digital Optical (TOSlink) and Digital Coax (S/PDIF), simultaneous outputs regardless of input type, a sample rate up to 96kHz, and a 24 - bit rate for both compressed and uncompressed bitstreams. It has one Digital Coax RCA (S/PDIF) and one Digital Optical (TOSlink) for both input and output, a switch for input selection, comes with a 1m Digital Optical (TOSlink) cable, and has a 110 - 240V / 5V DC 0.5A power supply with interchangeable blades.

Using the MuxLab 500087 Digital Audio Standards Converter is easy. First, connect your audio source (either Digital Coax or Digital Optical) to the corresponding input on the converter. Then, connect the converter's output to your Digital Audio Receiver. You can use the switch to select between S/PDIF and TOSlink inputs. Note that it supports a sample rate up to 96kHz and a 24 - bit rate. When it comes to power, just plug it into a 110 - 240V outlet with the included power supply. For maintenance, keep it in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you're not using it for a long time, unplug it from the power source.
