Product Description

The Rolls MS111 is a high - quality, pre - owned microphone muting switch that looks like new. It's an open - box item with no signs of use. This switch is a general - purpose solution for microphones. It can pass phantom power smoothly without any popping sounds on the outputs. You can configure it to be Push to Mute or Release to Mute via a second switch on the side. The mute switch can be set to Momentary (refer to the manual), though it comes set to latching from the factory. It only works with balanced signals. Key features include passing phantom power, having balanced female XLR input and male XLR output jacks, an activation switch that can be latching or momentary mute, a reversible activation switch where the 'Up' position can turn the mic on or off, the ability to be stand - mounted with the Rolls MSC106 mic mount accessory, and no popping on the outputs when switched. Technical specs: Input/Output Impedance is 600 Ohms, it has 2 XLR connections (1 male, 1 female), its size is 2.5” W x 2” H x 3” D, and it weighs 1 lb.

Using the Rolls MS111 is quite simple. First, connect your microphone to the female XLR input and the output device to the male XLR output. If you want to change the muting mode, use the second switch on the side of the unit. You can set it to Push to Mute or Release to Mute. To change the switch to Momentary mode, refer to the manual. As for the reversible activation switch, you can decide whether the 'Up' position turns the mic on or off according to your preference. If you have the Rolls MSC106 mic mount accessory, you can mount the MS111 on a stand. When using it, make sure you are dealing with balanced signals as it only works with them. Keep it in a dry and clean place to maintain its performance. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If you notice any issues, check the connections first. If the problem persists, refer to the manual or contact customer support.
