Intelix PMI-A9B Full-Speed USB Extender, Host Side

The Intelix PMI - A9B is a plate - mountable full - speed USB extender for the host side. It can be easily added to any Panel Crafters Plate. This extender supports USB 2.0 full speed at 12Mbps and USB 1.1 legacy devices. You can use it with U/UTP category 5/5e/6 cables up to 330 feet in length. Note that it's not suitable for USB 2.0 high - speed devices. It draws power from the host device's 5V supply, so no external power is needed. It features a USB “B” female (host) to RJ45 jack connection and requires a compatible client end. Also, it's compatible with 'New' Promethean Active Panel Displays.

Using the Intelix PMI - A9B USB extender is easy. First, make sure you have a compatible client end. Connect the USB 'B' female port on the extender to the host device. Then, use a U/UTP category 5/5e/6 cable to connect the RJ45 jack on the extender to the client end. You can use cables up to 330 feet long. Remember, this extender doesn't support USB 2.0 high - speed, so don't use it for such devices. Since it uses the host device's 5V power, there's no need to worry about external power sources.
