The Sonifex AVN - AESIO8 is a top - notch audio converter and interface. It effortlessly converts up to eight digital stereo AES3 inputs and outputs to and from the Dante Audio - over - IP networking standard. Each input can handle sample rates from 32kHz to 192kHz, which are then converted to the Dante system sample rate. Front - panel AES3 lock LEDs confirm valid input signals for each input, and all outputs follow the Dante system sample rate. Key features include 8 balanced digital stereo AES3 XLR inputs supporting 32kHz - 192kHz, sample rate conversion on physical inputs, 8 balanced digital stereo AES3 XLR outputs with rates matching the Dante system, 1 RJ45 Dante connector, LED status indicators for PoE, Link, Clock, and AES3 Lock for each input. It can be configured using Dante Controller, is AES67 - compliant, and operates with Dante Domain Manager. Powered by PoE, it comes in a 1U 19” rack - mount form factor. Using the Sonifex AVN - AESIO8 is straightforward. First, connect your digital stereo AES3 sources to the XLR inputs.
