Product Description

The Sony SRG-X120 is an incredibly versatile remotely - controlled PTZ (Pan - Tilt - Zoom) camera. It's perfect for a wide range of settings, including classrooms, meeting spaces, and medical environments. With a 1/2.5 - type Exmor R CMOS sensor, it captures high - quality images with great sensitivity, low noise, and natural, rich color. The built - in high - resolution 12x zoom lens offers about a 70° wide - angle view, ensuring clear capture of every perspective. This camera can support up to 4K resolution with an optional license, delivering ultra - high - definition images. It has high - speed movement during preset recall, with a maximum pan speed of 300°/s and tilt speed of 126°/s, accurately following the presenter's movements. The Picture Freeze Preset function keeps the image steady when switching to a new preset, providing seamless viewing for your audience. For efficient IP - based live production, it supports NDI®|HX (with an optional license), allowing flexible setup with other NDI® - enabled networked devices. It also supports multiple streaming protocols like RTSP, RTMP, and SRT, ensuring smooth video and audio streaming over IP networks. Installation is a breeze with Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), as a single network cable can carry power, video output, and control signals, reducing costs and setup time. Key features include high - quality imaging from the 1/2.5 - type Exmor R CMOS sensor, an optional 4K resolution upgrade, 12x optical zoom with a wide - angle view, high - speed pan and tilt with Picture Freeze Preset, support for NDI®|HX and multiple streaming protocols, and simplified installation with PoE+.

Using the Sony SRG - X120 is straightforward. First, connect it to a power source using the provided AC power adapter or PoE+ if available. You can then use the IR remote commander unit to control the pan, tilt, and zoom functions. For live production, set up the camera on a tripod or use the ceiling bracket for ceiling mounting. Make sure to keep the mounting angle within ±15°. If you want to use the 4K resolution or NDI®|HX features, you'll need to purchase and install the optional licenses. When streaming, select the appropriate streaming protocol based on your network and requirements. As for maintenance, keep the camera clean by gently wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures; the operating temperature range is 32°F to 104°F, and the storage temperature range is - 4°F to 140°F. Check the cables regularly for any signs of damage. If you're not using the camera for a while, put it in standby mode to save power.
